Famous model mommy Gisele Bundchen is the new face for Swedish retailer H&M. While no pictures of the final campaign have been released, the brand unveiled a behind the scenes preview earlier today – showing a smiling Gisele wearing a black coat. Bundchen topped Forbes list of highest-paid models in 2012, is the current face of Chanel, and previously worked with H&M on their spring/summer 2011 campaign.
H&M is upping the anti with their latest crop of campaign stars, with Beyonce Knowles starring in the high-summer adverts showcasing a swimwear line while models Daphne Groeneveld, Lindsey Wixon, Joan Smalls, and Liu Wen are the new faces of of the retailers New Icons range. According to the H&M website, their growth target is a 10-15% increase in the number of stores per year and at the same time increase sales in comparable units. In order to gain the numbers they are projecting, their marketing needs to entice customers. I can’t wait to see what the campaign has to offer!
