Designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler have created a 9-piece capsule collection for e-commerce shopping website, Net-A-Porter. This is the the duo’s first collaboration with a retailer.
“The collection was based on some of our favourite pieces from past pre-spring collections and riff on the idea of surf-inspired classics like the board short and the Baja pullover, but reinterpreted in luxe fabrics like leather and custom tweeds,” said the designers. “Net-A-Porter was one of the first stores to carry Proenza Schouler online, so we wanted to do something special to celebrate their continued support over the years.”
The collection is the perfect addition to create the ideal summer wardrobe, including mini dresses, shorts, jackets, and sweaters. Never ones to shy away from being bold, there are prints, bright colours, and stripes throughout.
“Jack and Lazaro’s designs are loved by our customers around the world. We are so excited about this collection which is everything you would expect from Proenza Schouler – slick, cool and covetable, with a buy and wear now sensibility,” said Holli Rogers, Net-A-Porter fashion director. “We are thrilled that they have chosen to partner with Net-A-Porter for their first foray into designing a limited-edition capsule.”
The prices range from $385 for a jersey mini dress to $1,075 for a suede-trimmed jacket.
